A fun contest site

Recently a writer friend alerted me to www.gutsyliving.com, a website that accepts submissions (up to 1000 words) for a “Gutsy Living” Contest. I liked the look and intent of the site so I sent my story off to the editor and website creator, Sonia Marsh. After I made suggested edits, which were right on the mark by the way, my piece was posted. Look for “Finding Heaven,” the story of an adventure that impacted my entire life. If you like it, please feel free to vote for my piece. Reader voting takes place from July 31, through August 13, 2014. Enjoy the other stories posted for this contest segment, too.
